The Inner Core of our Process-Based Curriculum

The Multidisciplinary Foundation of  pbc.

LLS is not a set of separate subjects.

It is a journey where children learn to think critically, care for the experiences of those around them, express themselves,

and explore their world with creativity.

Definition of LLS

Languages & Life Skills (LLS) form the multidisciplinary core of the Process-Based Curriculum (pbc).

Communication, creativity, and care intersect to create meaningful, connected learning.

Rooted in the principles of Inclusive Education, LLS provides a foundation for teachers to weave together thinking, feeling, and doing.

  • Uses language as the bridge between learning and life.

  • Embeds Life Skills - social-emotional learning, emergent sciences, creative arts, and physical education within everyday classroom experiences.

  • Recognises that children learn best through interaction, creativity, and real-world context.

  • Develops both academic and emotional literacy, preparing children for learning and for life.

Let's take a closer look...

"The role of a creative leader is not to have all the ideas; it’s to create a culture where everyone can have ideas and feel that they’re valued.”
