Learning Beyond Mainstream
Personalised learning support for students aged 6–18 who require a more individualised,
emotionally aware and adaptive approach to education.

Our CLASS room Ethos
We understand that not every student thrives within a traditional educational environment, and that every child and teenager deserves to be seen, understood and supported according to their individual learning profile, pace and needs.
Our integrated approach to learning, combines academic support with emotional awareness, creativity and practical life skills. We believe that meaningful growth happens when students feel safe, engaged and connected to the learning process. The arts form an integral part of our teaching and learning.
They are used as powerful tools for expression, communication and confidence building. This approach supports emotional regulation while creating opportunities for deeper, more meaningful engagement with learning. Through creative, and hands-on experiences, learners are encouraged to explore learning in ways that feel empowering and achievable.
Specialised Teaching
With 25 years of teaching experience, I offer personalised, inclusive support for all learners.
I work with children and teens who find it challenging to thrive in a mainstream classroom or meet curriculum expectations.
Each session is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, creating a supportive and engaging environment where confidence and understanding can grow.
One-on-one lessons are available in your home or in my home learning studio, ensuring a calm, focused space for learning.

Supporting Teen Growth Beyond the Classroom
Many students today are not struggling because there is a gap between who they are as individuals and how the education system expects them to perform. My work bridges that gap.

I am not a high school subject tutor, and I do not provide traditional exam-focused coaching in Mathematics, Languages, Afrikaans, or other high school curriculum subjects.
Instead, I offer something different, and often more necessary for many teens: a personalised, supportive learning and development approach.

I focus on understanding how your teen thinks, learns, and responds under pressure. From there, I help them build emotional regulation, confidence, focus, and resilience — the foundations that make learning possible in any subject.

My work is holistic and development-focused, not curriculum-driven.
Through a personalised, relationship-based approach, I help uncover your child’s strengths — their natural way of engaging with the world — and use that as a foundation for growth. This is often where real academic progress begins: not with more pressure, but with better understanding.

My role is to support the whole person, so they can return to schoolwork, homeschooling, or academic demands with greater clarity, capability, and self-belief.
